Dr. DiGiovanni brings over 25 years of clinical anesthesiology experience to the operating room. Trained at The New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center and appointed Chief Resident in his last year, he went on to do a fellowship in Regional Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at The New York Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, and The Virginia Mason Clinic in Seattle Washington. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and in 1994, received his certificate of added qualifications in Pain Medicine.

In 1983 he was appointed to the Department of Anesthesiology at Lenox Hill Hospital where he became the Chief of the section of Pain Management in 1986. In 1996 was appointed to the position of Associate Director. He was active in various committees at Lenox Hill Hospital, including the Finance Committee of the Board of trustees.

In 2002 Dr. DiGiovanni began his practice in Outpatient Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He manages the Anesthesia care for several notable Plastic Surgeons and Gastroenterologists in their offices and facilities. He has provided office-based anesthesia to over 2000 patients since 2002. He is certified in ACLS and has a current Drug Enforcement Administration certificate from the federal government. He is licensed in both New York and New Jersey.
